The location of Kings Park is fantastic, right in the heart of Retford. I loved the quirky vibe of the old police station. it added a unique character to the stay. The room was spacious and clean, with comfortable bedding, making it easy to relax. I appreciated the large windows that let in plenty of natural light. The bathroom was spotless, a big plus. The service from the staff stood out. They were friendly and always willing to help. One staff member even offered to give us a brief tour of the premises, which was a nice touch. the breakfast could use some improvement. It was limited to a simple continental spread. I had hoped for more options, especially after a long travel day. I noticed that there were some maintenance issues, like the shower lacking water pressure. Still, the overall experience was enjoyable.

Charming, Charming, Charming
I fell in love with the quirky vibe of this stunningly restored police station, which added a unique character to our stay. The manager was a gem, helping us with our bags and even letting us use a covered area for our cat, how thoughtful! Plus, the continental breakfast hit the spot with fresh pastries and delightful jam, setting us up for a fantastic day ahead.

I really loved the quirky vibe of the old police station turned hotel and the nice park across the street. Plus, they had a neat converted function room that was once a garage workshop! It’s fabulous if you're looking for a unique stay and an easy walk to the market. Definitely a great spot with character.

Couple looking for a decent stay
The staff was really helpful. I mean this one young guy at breakfast, super polite and he even offered us a tour of the place, how often does that happen?
It wasn’t cheap but acceptable, compared to what you get nowadays.

Cozy stay with a fab bathroom
Had a nice stay for one night. The Bridal Suite was super comfy and the bathroom was just wow, like the best ever! Wendy at reception was really friendly and helped us out with info. Just a bummer the bar couldn't serve drinks due to license issues. Definitely a cozy spot to crash.
